our goal from the very beginning was to create a space that allowed vendors and customers alike to feel accepted and connected with one another through the products they offer. the reality of running a business is that it's an extension of ourselves - our time, our energy, our heart. so, ritual market was born and it has given us the pleasure of fostering wonderful connections between makers, creators, business owners, customers, friends - people.

what is the ritual market?

how do i become a vendor?
vendors are accepted by application only.
applications open for each market a few months prior to the event date for a small period of time and then are closed for review and vendor selection. we always try to announce 1-2 weeks before applications open to allow applicants time to prepare and plan. due to the high volume of applicants, we like to focus on one market at a time and typically don't open applications for multiple markets at one time.
how do you select vendors?
every single vendor application is carefully reviewed and responded to via email. we truly appreciate the time, energy, and enthusiasm put behind applying to our events. unfortunately, we are unable to accept everyone who applies. we typically do have a limited number of booth spots available - and we also want to ensure we can provide the foot traffic and customer base to support the vendors we do accept. our vendors do rely on these events as a source of income and my vendor's success is a priority. lastly, we do try to limit the amount of vendors within each artistic category for similar reasons. we do our best to accept new vendors each market, but we also do value loyalty and past participation in our markets! if you do receive a denial to one or even more of our events, our line up is always changing from event to event - so i always encourage vendors to reapply to future markets.
how often do you have markets?
we have three outdoor markets a year (spring, summer and fall) and typically one indoor market in the holiday season. we are currently looking into hosting a mini market series for the holiday/winter months - so stay tuned!
